Prefabricated Housing: Overseas

Post by J.T. » Mon Jul 28, 2003 9:54 pm

I would like some information on how I can go about having prefabricated homes/offices shipped to Pakistan. This will be on a large scale (5000-15000 buildings). They would be placed in a port city, with a duty-free port, and free economic zone. I would need a referral to an agency, preferably one with a good history, cost information, etc. Plus, how exactly do I go about doing this? Any information would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

Exporting homes is not out of the ordinary, and done on a regular basis. Usually performed with a customs broker representing the parties. If you will e-mail me with your particulars, prehaps I can put you in touch with the principals you need.

Most of the major manufacturers have export departments...The number of homes you are talking about is very large...and maybe more than 1 manufacturer might be involved...

Roy here is one of the best in the industry..email him with your basic info and maybe he can help...

Good Luck...The industry as a whole can use this size boost in the next year or so..
