Getting started in mobile homes

I want to start investing in real estate and was told to start with mobile homes and save $1000-$2000 first. I have no money and my credit is not too good. How would I get started? Any suggestions? Thanks.

that's actually a great way to get started.. You can get great homes for a fraction of the cost of stick built homes.. In addition you can usually build up your credit and get the payments low enough. Such that, you can still save up for a stick built home in the future..But make sure you do your homework on the manufacturer, seller, and better business bureau..
