How long for set up???

Our home that we ordered was delivered to the dealers lot on Friday. It is now Tuesday evening and they have let 2 beautiful days go by without any work on our site. How long can we expect to wait for the setup? Once started how long does it usually take ( granted you have good weather ). I hate to call because I know they don't get their money until the home is set up? Any advice?

lots of dealers work on a monthly schedule...The goal usually is to have the money in the house by the last day of the month...

You did not mention if you had a multi section or not...but I assume you do...

Set up time depends on all that needs to be done...extensive site prep can takes days or weeks....Then the home...most double sections will take about a week to set from beginning to end...Some of the simpler floor plans can be done as fast as 3 days..Some of the most complex homes (taped and painted sheetrock, hardwood floors and the like) can take up to 3 weeks....

Site prep should have been done while your home was being built...Lot should have been ready for the home when it came from the factory..Then there should only be a few days scheduling all the crews..When that is done..here it comes..

Expect a couple of weeks...if the home is done sooner...you will end up happy..

Thank you so much. Yes our home is a 32 by 80 so we knew it would take awhile but didn't know how long exact. Still waiting on footers, septic system and well in addition to our home being set up so we are just waiting and packing
