separation in house

Am thinking of bidding on manufactured house offered by HUD. It is separating where the two units are joined. Am I looking at a major renovation to fix this problem. Is it repairable?

It should be lag bolted or nailed at the top and bottom...You might consider a home inspector...
This could be no more than a minor relevel...or could be a major reset..reset by a professional might cost about 2K..
Has there been damage done because of the problem???This could add some or a lot of cost...

I own a 1986 modular home in NJ that is indeed separating.
I have about a 1" gap running down the middle of the
house.

Is this a costly expense? Who do I call?

Thanks for any help you can give me!
