Using Pipe Liners to Fix Leaks Without Replacing Pipes

Post by givingworker » Sun Aug 17, 2025 9:49 pm

In a mobile home park, if the drain line running from the home to the street has a leak, is there a method to repair it by inserting a pipe liner instead of replacing the entire pipe? I know an elderly person facing this issue, so I’m trying to find out more about pipe lining services and whether they’re a good solution.

Pipe lining can be a good fix if the pipe is mostly intact, since it’s less invasive than replacement. A camera inspection first will show whether lining is suitable or if a full replacement is needed.
