Removing interior walls in 1998 Fleetwood Single-Wide

Post by mark57 » Thu Sep 25, 2014 2:37 pm

To All,

We just purchased a 1998 Single-Wide Fleetwood Manufactured Home; 20 Ft Wide X 76 Ft Length.
There is a washer and dryer in the middle of the home across from the kitchen. There are two walls that surround the washer and dryer (and several kitchen cabinets) which are parallel to the roof rafters.

Does anybody know if we can remove both of these walls to open up the kitchen and living room area? We were concerned about the roof and roof ridge beam support? Our home is located in South Florida so there is no concern about snow load.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark
