Ceiling AC Vent Air Flow Issues

Post by bigfishbobby » Fri Nov 18, 2011 11:26 am

First let me say thanks to whomever supplies and contributes to these boards to help rookies like me. Here is my issue.....I have a 1997 double wide Redman home. My A/C vents are in the ceiling. I am 100% sure the flex tubing under the house is good and air is getting to the trunk lines in the roof. All of the ducts in the house have weak air flow, but on one side of the house at the far end there is zero air flow. I feel I am obviously losing air somewhere in the ceiling but I have no crawl space in there to get to it if I knew where it was. Not even an access hole anywhere. I cut out the master bedroom closet wall to get to the riser of that side of the house and it looks good. There are only three ways I can figure out of this problem.....bust holes in the ceiling until I find the problem, take the roof off of the house to find the problem, or install floor vents in the entire house to bypass the system all together. The cheapest option of those so far has been the floor vent idea at $3,000. PLEASE GIVE ME AN IDEA! Thnaks in advance for any help. BFB
