Hello,
We are new residents of a beautiful manufactured home that was built in 2007 and installed in 2008. It is in the shape of a T, with the top of the T being the narrower portion. In that section, the floors are starting to sink between the metal struts so that they feel quite bumpy and bowed. When we moved in 8 months ago this problem was non-existent.
Considering the newness of the home, I'm thinking this is a flaw in either construction or installation, but I really don't know much about manufactured homes so I hope that you all might be able to shed some light for me. It is on a raised foundation with a concrete skirt and metal supports on wood platforms on dirt.
What would cause the floors to bow like this?? I could link to the manufacturers floor plan if that would help. Thanks so much.
