1983 fleetwood mobile home specs

I just bought a 1983 Fleetwood doublewide model number 4703B. body type HT. im looking for information on what type of studs they used on the outside and inside. as well as what type of insluation the house has. any type of info would be great. thanks

Fleetwood had dozens of shops and brands. The HT stands for House Type and is a DMV designation for a manufactured home.

At that time Fleetwood was using 2x4 framing either 16 or 24 inch on center. The walls are most likely pre-papered dry wall panels. The inner-nonsupport room divider walls are either framed 2x3 or 2x2.

The insulation is most probably fiberglass there is a possibility that the roof insulation was blown in.

yea that helps alot. Im trying to make mine more energy saving. im affraid im elc bill will be $400 dollars. when its 90* degrees outside the AC never shuts off. im thinking im loosing alot of my cool air from the roof and sides of the house. im getting new windows in a couple of weeks so i hope that helps some.
