flooring problem

Hello. My girl friend's mother lives in a mobile home in southern Delaware and the lamenant flooring in the kitchen has a "bubble" in it, almost as if there is air trapped between the subfloor and the new floor. The floor seems to lift more when the air conditioning is on and its not as bad when the heat is on. When you stand where the kitchen is at its widest (approx 5 feet), you can feel the floor bounce slightly. Something is forcing the floor up by as much as an inch, but you can use your weight to compress it down (although when I stand on it I am not sure if the lamenant floor is actually pressing all the way down to the subfloor. I am going to help my girl friend's brother this weekend and before we tear up the old floor I would like to get an idea of what might be waiting for us underneath. Thanks for any advice.

Hard to tell... Could be a problem with the lamenant flooring product. Some are excellent but the less expensive products are very susceptible to moisture damage.
