A/C sleeve to connect the front half to back half

Post by vrfarms59 » Thu Jul 29, 2010 11:05 pm

Ok I need someone to explain to me why a Mobile that is permanently placed on a plot of land cannot have a galvanized duct placed under the home. This would be more permanent critters would not be able to pull it down, the Sleeve that i paid dearly for is under there but it is so low to the ground i cannot see if it is still attached or I know the insulation they put around it must of fallen off by now. vrfarms

Every manufactured home air connection is unique. There is not set length between the air unit and the hard duct. That is why flex duct is used. You can have a galvanized or aluminum connection but you have to get it custom made, which would cost more than most of us would care to spend..
