Manufactured housing in Central American

With more and more Americans retiring to Central and South America, wouldn't manufactured housing be a great option even though site housing is much cheaper down there? I don't think I've read anything about M-H's outside of the U.S. I'm looking to retire in 2 or 3 years and am considering going to Honduras, Ecuador, Panama, etc. - I believe there would be a HUGE market for American style housing down there. Can you enlighten me? Thanks.
