Questions on purchasing a repo singlewide from greentree.
I requested and recieved a repo list from Greentree. Went to look at a couple places. The places seem to be in pretty decent shape but need some work. Like carpet, of course a thourough cleaning and previous owners things sifted and removed, and appliances. And both places most likely will be needed to be moved to another location. There is no price listed on the list, only offers. One is a 97 2x2 14x76 Redman. The other is a 99 14x80 Fleetwood 3x2. I only plan on purchasing one of these but my main question is. I am doing this on my own with no wholesale dealer. Where should my offer start? I dont want to be way too low and get laughed at, but not way too high either. I've got about 5 grand to work with to purchase the home, family going to help with land, moving and setup expenses. Feasibly could I get away with about a $2500 to a $3000 offer to be able to do the repairs needed?

Buying a foreclosed home could present challenges. For example, a foreclosed property may not be in the exact location or neighborhood that you would like to live in, or the home may have a bit of cosmetic damage that needs immediate attention before you can move in. The price benefit and strong buyers negotiating position are, in most cases more than enough to circumvent these issues.
