What make of shower stem and bonnet do I have

Post by vader1701 » Fri Oct 10, 2008 11:32 am

I own a 1997 Patriot home bought it new then and my shower valves are getting tight to turn on and off and I need to replace them but there are no markings showing who made them.

To turn the water off and then take them apart to look and see if I can match them up so to speak is something I am not comfortable with because if they are real bad and they don't back on till I get the new ones this could be a big problem.

Can anyone give me an idea with the maker of this home and experience with this repair work tell me what the company probably used for show faucets or what the common ones used were?

Thank You
Bob

Visit the Mobile Home Parts Store OnLine The have photos and specs for most of their products. while you don't need the exact brand it would be nice to find a set that had the same spacing between the hot and cold so that the replacement job is as simple as possible... you really don't want to start extending or cutting water lines if you can avoid it.

If you don't see what your looking for phone them. You will find their 800 number on the web site. I have called them more than once and They have some highly experienced people that will know exactly what you need to make the job go smoothly.
