Hello all,

I'm in need of an FHA lender that will do doublewide manufactured homes. Also, the credit is at the 500 mark. Anyone out there effectively doing these loans any more.

Most of the Manufactured Housing Loan Finder participating lenders offer FHA loans. Submit the form you will find Here and you will be contacted by several lenders that would like your business.

A 500 Middle (middle of your 3 scores) , is very chalanging...If any program will mortgage your home FHA will....FHA is NOT score driven...FHA mostly looks at your last 24 months of payment history...They do not want to see many 30 day lates...If collections are the reason your score is low...Most will have to be paid. You can have NO more than $2500 worth...If judgments and liens are the reason for the low score...They will ALL have to be paid...FHA will NOT mortgage when you are in default with Student loans or child support..FHA will will be very tough on income guidelines...If you have large amount of assets (401K's, savings, land), they will consider them when making the approval...You need to find a VERY skilled FHA originator and be VERY honest and open...Expect it will take a long while and LOTS of cooperation on your part...Worse case is that you can set a goal now and pay EVERY bill on time for 24 months and clean up problems and be in a home then...
