Does anyone know of any resources to help displaced mobile home owners that have lost their park and home due to redevelopement?
I was forced to leave my home after the park wad sold. My Home was two years too old to be moved into another park and besides there is not another park left in this city,(Jacksonville Beach, Fl.) to move to. My home was a {home} and I had a good amount of money in it and all was lost except fot the insulting amount offered.
Any idea's? Would anyone like to start a fund program to help people that are becoming homeless because of this happening all over the country.
I'm in Florida and can't afford to buy anything else, {I've LOOKED} and am forced to stay with a friend for a while. I'm one of the lucky one's but it's still very, very hard. Some of the other residents have not fared so well!!!
Any suggestions, email, [email protected]
I am pretty competent on the computer and would be happy and willing to make a web site?? Need help from there, on how to set it up??? I would love to help people that {truthfully have just been pushed aside} and don't know how to help themselves back because everything has changed and some can't compete anymore and are just falling through the cracks!!!

the Florida Mobile Home Relocation Corporation.
The Florida Mobile Home Relocation Corporation (FMHRC) is a public corporation that was formed by an act of the Florida Legislature, which also created the Florida Mobile Home Relocation Trust Fund (Trust Fund). The statutes governing the FMHRC and the Trust
The Legislature established the Trust Fund to provide a source of funds to compensate eligible manufactured home owners who are displaced when their manufactured home communities close due to a change in the use of the land. In order to apply to FMHRC for compensation, a homeowner must complete an application and submit it to the FMHRC Board of Directors for approval.
If you have decent credit, your home is in debt free and good condition you can try to use your home equity as a down payment for a lot that you can own. Depending on the price of land where you are, you could be paying off - a lot to own - for less each month then if you have been paying for lot rent.
