Plumbing problems on a 2003 Fleetwood

I have a 2003 Fleetwood mobile home and this past weekend my plumbing backed up. It started with the toilet in the master bathroom not flushing. When I tried plunging the toilet sewage came up into the sink. That afternoon everything seemed to have cleared. The next day, yesterday, as I was showering I could hear bubbling in the toilet and the shower started to fill, not drain. I got out of the shower and tried plunging the toilet again and this time sewage came up into the shower.

I called for a plumber who was unable to get from the toilet in the guest bathroom out of the house. He kept hitting the pipes in the kitchen. He then tried from the kitchen and that took him towards the back of the house. When he tried snaking from the master toilet he was only able to go about 20 feet.

No water is leaving the house, it is backing up. The outside clean out was clear so it appears to be in/under the house.

My question is, is this a problem with the way the plumbing was installed, are other home owners having this problem?

Also, is there supposed to be a way to clean out the drains from inside to the outside? He said there should be a 'sweeping' flow to the outside.

Today he is going to go under the house to see if he can cut out the problem.

Please let me know if any one else has had this problem. Maybe it is a manufacture defect?

Most of the drain lines under a double wide are installed by the installation or plumbing contractor (depending on state or local regulations) at the time of set up... a good deal of the time the location of your septic tank or connection to the public system determines how the drain lines are routed.

If this is the first time you have run into this problem since the house was installed in 2003 the problem is most likely a blockage in the line rather than a defect in the way the plumbing was run.

Clean outs are generally mandated by local code, but can be added at any time. If your plumber finds it necessary to cut into the lines to clear the blockage ask him to install a clean out in a location where it will be easy to snake thru to the location of the problem if it should occur again
