Need Help

Looking for someone who has installed a garage on the end of a double wide

i want to have one built but need some ideals or pictures
please help

This is not a small job. First, check the local building code as well as with your insurance company. Fire seperation is required and not easy for a home owner to do himself.
Next, check in your homeowners manual, it tells you that any additional structure (like a garage) must be free standing!
Your best bet is to build a detached garage.

Check with your local building permit office before starting. The rules for building additions and out-buildings differ from location to location. You dont want to invest in anything you may have to take down later if it is not built to local code standards.

I agree with the previous post that a free standing structure is best in most cases. You might want to get bids and/or ideas from local additions contractors. If your determined to do the job yourself you can also see the article Adding on to your manufactured home at MobileHomeRepair.com.
