separation between wall boards

We have a 1990 Redmon singlewide. We bought this trailer in 2000 and it was brought in and set up on our site. Recently I was taking down the plastic sheeting on the windows (cold winters) and noticed that along the left side of the window all the way down to the floor is a large gap between the wall board and the window/lower wall board. We have noticed different places (closets etc) where it looks to be shifting with separations etc. Can we just put in an expanding foam spray to keep out the air or ladybugs or is this going to be an expensive repair bill??
