Financing and contractors

Post by Kendra Ruderman » Sat Jan 08, 2005 10:01 am

My husband and I have been triing to find a bank and a contractor that will be able to refinance, build a full basemant (1160sq ft), move and place our 4 year old mfh onto from Fenton, Mi to Pinckney, Mi. I have been having a heck of a time and it is extremly frustrating. Green Tree does not do refis, and all the lenders that I talked to "don't do mfh" if it is not on your own lot for at least a year. I love my house, I love the 5 acres, I want them together. I have been working on this for about a year now and I have a headache from beating my head up against a wall that seems like it won't fall. What should we do?

Try Republic Bank in Grand Blanc.
They do many manufactured home/land packages.

I know that one of our local dealers use Wells Fargo for many of their land-home packages. Might be worth checking into.
