Additional Lighting

Post by RJ » Fri Jan 07, 2005 9:18 pm

I purchased a 1996 Belmont (BE3317). Is it safe to have additional lighting and a ceiling fan (seperately) installed in kitchen ceiling?

There's an existing ceiling fan w/lights in living room. I want to replace it with a better fan that has brighter bulbs. Is there something I can purchase so the fan won't shake when running?

I also want additional lighting in master bath over sink area for applying makeup. What do you suggest?

Tom

Yes, you certainly can add additional lighting, just a matter of tapping into an electrical source and running the wires. Installing a ceiling fan in a MH requires a fan bar that will hold it in place and stop the wobble. They dont sell the bar here on the site, but you can purchase it by going to www.mobilehomerepair.com and clicking on the books and parts link. For your bathroom, you have quite a few options, you can purchase a new cabinet with built in lights. There are some light bars you can purchase at any of the major home stores in your area. Tom
