I second that opinion. The only time Ive ever seen it work without problems is when done by an experienced professional. And as Bill stated if you did this project correctly, you could probably pick up a nice used or repo'd larger unit for the same or less money. Tom

I have a newer mobile home and I found some land but it has a older mobile on it. I was wandering if it is possible to maybe put the two together and brick it in to make it one house. would it be possible is there restrictions against that? I live in College Station Tx the houses are the same size. Thank you.

Not recomended.When this is attempted it usually always leads to structural problems down the road.If you have the money to do all this (brick,modify,etc.)it makes much better semse to buy a bigger home to start with.
