Exterior Door Hinges

First, I want to thank the people who have provided this forum for us mobile home owners. I also want to thank the people who provide such great answers to our problems! This will be the first place I come for anything mobile home! I do wonder why the Parts Store link doesn't work for me, though.

I have searched the archives of these forums and haven't found my problem addressed. I have a single-wide Kaufman-Broad that was manufactured before 1988 (official documents do not show the manufacture date, nor is there any documentation in the trailer to tell me). The exterior back door is now operating on only one of its three hinges, and we can't seem to find any parts to replace/fix them. We have taken pictures to local mobile home stores and they have nothing. We have also looked through internet mobile home parts stores and see nothing like what we have.

Could someone please either tell me where to get replacement parts (best option) or what would be the best hardware to use in place of the existing hinges?

Might be tough to find. But give this a shot. Go to www.mhrv.com and on the home page is an email us link. Contact Rich and send him the pic you posted in that email to him. He has been able to find parts for me no one else has. Its worth a try. Tom

That hinge is part of the door frame. You would need to replace the door frame (or probably better, the entire door). Back door on the home I am moving out of is the same style.
