Concrete Panel Skirting
Concrete Panel Skirting
I have been looking in to concrete panel skirting for my 87 doublewide and was wondering if anyone had it or had any thoughts (good or bad) about it. It says it can be buried and sealed together at the seams to make it wind proof. I am tired of the cold floors from the strong winds blowing under the house! It also says it is rodent proof- great if it works! We have the flimsy vinyl stull that came with the house from the former owner and as we are planning on selling the house in the next 5-7 years we didn't want to commit to cinder blocks but there has to be something better than the vinyl. Any comments would be appreciated.- thanks
Re: Concrete Panel Skirting
There are other alternatives to the concrete that would probably be considered stiffer and less expensive. Metal and all the faux rock, brick look would give more protection than vinyl, but less than concrete. Mentioning this as you stated you were selling in a few years. Tom

you stated that you have cold floors....is the insulation and bellieboard under the home in good shape?....this may be all you need
