How do I know if it is really a COMMODORE home?

Post by LINDA » Sat Sep 25, 2004 3:04 am

Hey rmurray,
Got another question for you.

RE: The floor plan that the dealer gave me for the home I want

He said that it is a Commodore home. So I wrote to Commodore and asked if they had a floor plan for this particular "model name". They said they did not.
OK, maybe the dealers give the name they want it to have.

So, I sent Commodore every number that was on the floor plan "Title" sales literature number, square feet, etc.

They wrote back stating that they even looked in their archives and cannot come up with any floor plan of theirs. He said I should try another manufacturer.

Wow..good question...Something does not exactly fit here...

I would invest a telephone call...or better yet take advantage of Commodore's toll free number...Ask for the sale manager...Ask about the floor plan..and ask about the builder (dealer) involved...I would think a company like Commodore would want to know if someone is using their hard earned reputation..

You might also ask the dealer to do a detailed spec and pricing of the home..colors and all..then ask for a copy of the factory order confirmation..it should have all the info you would need to verify from the plant.....

Then again..if you do not trust this dealer...move on..

Phil,
When I try to dial the number you gave me I get a operator recorded message
"you cannot reach this number from your calling area"

Got another one?
