Buying old mobile homes

Post by Frank Solomon » Tue May 10, 2005 3:34 pm

Hi Chrissy
We have people buying pre 1976 mobile homes for 85,000 - 150,000...and they are regretting it a few months later. I was wondering if you have a hard hitting ad they may deter these purchases.
Thanks
Frank

Rather than running any kind of ad, I would suggest you work individually with these folks, if you are in a position to do so. Talk to them one-on-one and ask why they decided to buy this home, what their expectations are, and ask if they have considered any of the areas that may cause them grief in the near future. Obviously, this may not be the proper thing to do, depending on your relationship to the seller of the home and the buyer. I leave that to your discretion.

I live in Wichita Kansas I have a 1974 mobile home 16"x80" IO would like to get rid of. It is in bad condition and needs lots of work, I don't really care what I get for it I just don't want it under my name anymore. Can you help me please?

Thank you,

Terri Casper
