Contacting land owner

Post by tk » Thu Jul 31, 2003 9:35 am

I want to sell my mfr home, but it's on a leased lot (but it's not a park). I've mailed the land-owner and he has ignored my letters. I know it's the right address because my rent goes to the same address and I've never received a late notice. I need him to tell me what to tell prospective buyers about the lot and his contact info so they can get speak to him about rent and application forms. I haven't seen him in person in five years, but lots are vacated then filled occassionaly so he's still around conducting business. All I can think of is that he is mad about having another mfr home go up for sale. I'm considering having the home moved to a sales lot. I can afford the mortgage and a rent payment at an apartment, but it would be more comfortable to stay in the mfr home until it sold. Any ideas on how I can get a hold of him? Thanks in advance.

I would send my rent payment and the notice in the same envelope certifed mail with a return receipt. At least it enables you to know he has received your letter. Then you may have to contact an attorney if still no response.

simple, juat sell the home to be moved only, let the land lord worry about renting the lot again. since he had not seen fit to contack you, why worry about his lost business.????
