Monthly Fees

Post by Alfred Roccanti » Sat Jan 12, 2002 5:42 pm

Dear Chrissy, I am President of Pine Valley Plantation Coop. Corp. in Belchertown, MA, a mobile home community of 386 homes. Our monthly fee includes our Maintenance Fee, Town License Fee, Sewer usage fee & sewer loan repayment. Our residents refer to the total payment as their "maintenance fee', which it is not. Only 57% of the total is actually the "maint. fee". What would be a better word to use to refer to our monthly charge? Please help me with this dilemma. Thank You. Al Roccanti

There are several popular names for this payment right now. The oldest one, and probably the one most commonly used is "monthly rent." However, you may also want to consider the following: monthly fees, user fees, homeowner's fees, or monthly assessments.
