a couple "decorating" questions

Is it possible to paint the wallboard? Anyone done this? How did you accomplish it & how did it turn out? Can laminate flooring be installed directly over the vinyl?

Yes, you can definitely install laminate flooring over sheet vinyl. Most laminate flooring requires a foam or poly film underlayment. Make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions to the letter, don't cut corners, and you will be a-ok.
