interest in a modular or a mh

Post by renee » Wed Feb 22, 2006 3:27 pm

if anyonehas any information (good or bad) about pine grove homes and champion homes manufactured or modular it would be appreciated. I'm interested in pine grove but they don't have a dealer in winston salem north carolina the closest one is in richmond va. when I contacted them they said they can deliver the home but thats it and but they could walk me through the process with the rest( find contractors to do the rest) . I don't even own a piece of land yet. I don't know where to start with that process. When I bought the home I want to do a land home package.
now with champion we do have a local dealer and I like thier homes but I don't know if they offer the type of kitchen(sonoma grille) or bathroom( tranquility spa) that pine grove does.
Do I have the option with champion to bring in my own appliances to be in stalled such as the spa tub for 2, stove, refrigerator and custom shower.

I understand that what I'm saying maybe confusing but when I buy a home I really want it to have everything that I want.

thanks in advance

Find a builder of modular homes in your area with a good reputation and ask him to get you the home you want..Buying directly from the plant would be fraught with many perils for you...Odds are major problems would cause you heartache...

We used a manufactured home sales place with their own contractor on sight and he did all the co-ordination of utilities, add on garage, etc. Call and see if you can find one with a contractor as an employee.
