Buying a house basement ready

The wife and I are thinking about buying a lot and putting a MH with a basement on it.

So I have a few questions, so please bear with me;

I have been to two different dealers, and found one I really liked.I don't have the brochure with me at work, but it was about 1500sq ft and I took good notes, and was pretty sure he said the new 2006 model would cost $65K basement ready, but he now told my wife it was $73K. Should I keep shopping around? It was a three bedroom with a den and two bathrooms, and a fireplace in the living room. Should I keep shopping around?

He also said to have the basement built would be around $10-12 a sq ft. Does that sound reasonable?

We really liked having the den in addition to having the three bedrooms, and not to mention that the roof style had the peak above the livingroom window was nice.

I don't know if location matters on how much the houses generaly cost, but we are located in the twin cities of minnesota.
