National Trends in Park Closing

I just purchased a DW. Now I find out the land is zoned "Garden Home." According to our residents that means the park can be closed and homes built.

In our case there was an action before the city in 1987 to zone all MH parks as mobile home parks. For some reason the change never occured. Now it's come to the surface again.

I'm wondering what the national trends have been. Have these things gone to court? Is the process dragged out for long? How do they usually turn out in the end?
