Front Steps

I have just recently purchased a new home and have a question. I plan to put a deck at the front and back doors of the home in the future (about 6 months from now) but for now, I need some steps for my front door. The ones that came with the home are very, very temporary and are not tall enough to reach the front door of the home. I need something that is taller and much more sturdy to put by my front door, but I have been unable to find anything. Short of building some steps, does anyone know what my options are?

The dealership should have provided you with appropriate steps, certainly ones tall enough to reach within a few inches below the front door threshold.

I agree with the other poster...the dealer supplied steps should be perfectly fine for this short time...They make steps in all heights.......

In my area the local building inspector would not allow the situation you describe..
