From what I have read is it my understanding that the septic and electrical box need to be contracted out to be done on a land/mh set up or is that included in the price of the mh?
Any clarification would be appreciated.

Land Set-up questions
Re: Land Set-up questions
Hi Barbara,
The answer is no. Usually set-up and delivery includes delivery to the site, footers to set the home on and installation of the heat pump. Sometimes it also includes skiritng around the home also. The electrical, plumbing, septic, etc. is the responsibility of the buyer UNLESS you add these costs into the final deal. Hope this helps.

Re: Land Set-up questions
Seldom would septic and electrical be included in the first quotes...but all dealers will be able to add the cost to the loan for finance purposes...
Septics and electrical prices vary from lot to lot...There are other things involved in land prep you should not forget...driveway, excavating, water source (sell or tap fee and water line)...Clearing..the list goes on and on..all specific to your location..Most are possible to finance with the mortgage...

Re: Land Set-up questions
Hi,
Does the transport company do the footers and the piers in setting up the mobile home on land? Are they suppose to do the tie downs as well? We bought a mobile home and it will be delivered tom. But the problem is that we have not poured a cement pad for the mobile home to sit on. I don;t want my mobile home to sink in the ground? I am just trying to understand what all goes into blocking and unblocking? I have tried to reach the transport company but with no luck and just wanted to get some info before it gets here?
Thanks
