Patriot homes

I have been looking at a Patriot manufactured home in the Pinnacle homes division.The home is called the Natchez, it is 2010 square ft, 4bedroom, 2bath. The dealer quoted the price as $91,000.00. I thought that seemed very high and wondered if this sounds right to any of you with more experience or is he trying to nail me? Thanks!!!

i like that model or what i see of it on the company website. every patriot home i've looked at in texas, between 1760 sf and 2100 sf, is in the $80,000-$90,000.00 price range. have another patriot dealership price one out for you and compare the prices.

Maybe they cost more where you are, but were looking at the Fernwood--2280 square feet and without fireplace we're getting a price of around $65,000. Quite a bit less than yours. this is one manufactured in Hamilton Alabama.

Dear Vicki and Jennifer,

With regard to the homes mentioned Vicki the home you mention is quite a bit different than the Pinnacle model Jennifer mentions. The differences are primarily in the standard specifications of the two home series. The one you mention Vicki is a Southridge model (also built by a division of Patriot Homes). Patriot builds a very wide range of homes trying to fulfill the needs of a broader customer base. We build homes from the low $50's to the high $500,000 dollar ranges. Therefore without comparing apples to apples it can be quite confusing when comparing one home series to another or one manufacturer to another which is the same issue you would face when looking at site built. The best practice when buying any home is trying to be sure the person you're buying from is reputable and will stand behind their product. You should be able to get a few references from them of some customers that have recently bought homes to see how they were treated and how well their home was finished on site and how satisfied they were with the home itself. Also check the Better Business Bureau and every State has a Manufactured Housing Association that can help you find out if the retailer you are working with is reputable. Vicki I really didn't understand you're last question but if you will try to clarify I will try to help.

I is interesting that someone from a manufacturing plant would give this good advice about researching the dealer....but...if manufacturers really cared about consumers...they would do this research and not sell dealers who cause trouble...It would be for the best for the factory..their reputation and their consumers..

You are implying that your company does not screen dealers and leaves this totally to the consumer..
