I've not seen any mention of this manufacturer on this site, so I would appreciate any feedback on their Gemini LXE II series of MH's - quality, service, any problems experienced and tips on purchasing a custom order. Thanks in advance!

Ritz-Craft was the direction we started. Process went like this:

Ask a question, wait 3 weeks for an answer
Ask a question, wait 3 weeks for an answer

(I know it wasn't the dealer. When we selected a different manufacture, answers were obtained in a couple of days).

This went on for 4 months (yep, missed the interest rate bubble. That cost me $30,000...) until they day they told me they could only use Novodeck floors because of "Code" (I wanted OSB or plywood). This is a lie. I talked to their sales rep directly, his answer never changed. A letter sent to the president of the company was never responded to.

Novadeck is not what you want for a sub-floor. This, if for no other reason, should make you look elsewhere.

How is the house attached to the foundation? I have about 20 straps approx 1" X 20" lg. left over and no one seems to know what they are used for. The house is on the foundation already.......

Thanks
Eric

Is this a new modular home???.....Check out the manual that came with the home...or call the plant and ask the engineer what they should have been used for...A modular will seldom have any extra parts when complete....The foundation print should show all the tie down points....
