We are considering a Manufactured home for a weekend get away place. We are looking at something in the 1000 sq/ft range. The home would be placed in Illinois. In the area we have several options so I was wondering if someone could offer their opinion on these manufacturers:

Patriot - Southridge (I guess division or series)
Redman- Ridgedale (again series or line)
Four Seasons

Any advice would be appreciated.

hi kevin,
couldn't tell you about those but just had an idea to offer? silver crest homes, pretty good reputation, excellent construction by most people's standards, has an "rv" line which is small but just for vks. do a search with silvercrest homes in the box and look for their rv link on home page.

I woudn't recommend buying a redman home. I've talked to several people who know a lot about manufacturd homes and they do not recommend this home.
