My husband and I are shopping for a pre-owned mobile home for his parents. We live in Southern California and found a nice senior park in our area. However, most of the homes in our price range are from the 1970s. What are the most important things we should look for in purchasing a 30-year-old mobile home? What parts would be mostly costly to update (i.e. roof, plumbing, etc.) These homes appear to be well-kept, but we still want to know what rocks to look under. And yes, we do plan to hire a qualified inspector after we make an offer.
Thanks for any help advice!

I think you are on the right track...A well cared for home should need little in required repairs...Updating is a different thing..just like any 30 year old home it probably could use some..
I cannot think of any specific advice beyond the home inspector you are going to use...Good Luck..
