Best value and construction in Iowa
Best value and construction in Iowa
I'm a first-time buyer looking for a manufactured home in Iowa, and have no idea which manufacturers have high-quality construction and good value. Could anyone give me some suggestions? Thank you.

Hello, You are in a very good location to be comparing different manufactured homes. You have BonnaVilla Homes in nearby Aurora, Nebraska, Guerdon/Magnolia homes in Nebraska, Fuqua Homes in Missouri, and the lists goes on. If you buy make sure you have one piece tub and shower stalls, elongated toilets, watershut off at all fixtures, 2x6 walls, 3/4" T&G plywood floors, 2x8 floor joints 16 o.c. with R19 insulation in floors and walls. Remember you lose heat in your ceiling so make sure you beef up the insulation to R-30 or more, and make sure you have 30 pounds per squre feet roof load 16" o.c. This should make you nice and comfortable. Good luck.
