Patriot?Southern Energy?Book?

Post by Paul » Wed Mar 05, 2003 4:14 pm

Anyone have thoughts on qlty of above homes? The Patriot I'm looking at is in the Southridge line. I'm moving from a home that I built (log) to more land w/ a mfr'd home, so I want good construction.
Also, what about the book that's on line here rating homes. I've seen some people having problems getting it..
I'm in Central Arkansas and not a redneck (well, maybe a little...)
Thanks to anyone who will help!

About the book...

Hi,

I ordered the books by Randy Eaton and I was also concerned about the posts on here about it taking time. I can happily tell you, I received mine within 3 days. It was very quick. And they are extremely helpful.

Of the homes available here (in Texas), Patriot is listed as being very well made.

Good luck with your search...

Eric

Hello, I am looking at getting a Pinnacle or Heritage American by Patriot. They are much nicer than the Southridge. The Southridge didn't really stand out to me.
I think Patriot is a great buy for the money. I believe the Heritage American by Patriot is about on par with Fuqua. And probably a lot more affordable. Even the Pinnacle is very nice. And a lot more affordable, for sure. I will probably opt for a Heritage American. Not sure of the cost. Can't be as much as a Fuqua. I strongly believe that Fuquas are the best that money can buy here in Arkansas, but they're expensive, especially at Quality Homes in Conway (only Fuqua dealer in state). I know that they have a high mark up (stay clear of them). I live in Northeast Arkansas. I was quoted over the phone $70k-$75k for the most affordable model. "GOOD GOD!!!"

Best of luck,
Eric

Good choice. I would opt for the Heritage series, but they don't sell here in Bama.
Heritage seems to be very good at tape and textured sheetrock t/o the home.

The Pinnacle seems to be the best choice for us. Their 32 wides come standard
with a lot of great features, including tape and textured sheetrock in the livingroom,
hall, MBR, and kitchen. The construction is also impressive. Way more home for
less money than PH after comparison.

good luck

I've owned several Patriot products since 1994. I current have a '99 Crystal Valley
"Jackson Manor." I am more than satisfied with both the quality of the home, and the warranty coverage.

The site hasn't been updated since last year, and needs refreshing bad.
