What does anyone know about the Pinnacle Doublewides? We looked at them
in Montgomery today, and they seem to be very well built. All of the construction
features checked out. 2 X 6 exterior walls, 2 X 8 joists both 16" OC, water cutoffs at each lav, sink, and toilet. OSB sheathing, 2 X 4 interior walls, finished sheetrock in theLR, Hall, Mbr. R-30 ceiling, R-19 sidewalls, R-11 floors. We looked at a several
models from 28 to 32 wide today. They seemed to be well built.

Johnny
We have been looking at Pinnacle for about a year now and I believe in the
Missouri area I get more home for the buck with these homes than for anything that we have seen in the last year and a half. Have you looked at the new homes
with the flat ceilings? We are looking at the Model 3503.
Let me know if you would like to compare notes aand opinions.
Thanks
Gary

We are looking at the Kennedy (3521) and the Morton (3514.)

The dealer told us that the new homes, 32 wide, for 2003 will have 2X6 exterior
walls, and 2X8 floor joists standard. All the other features that make up a nice
home are included in these models.

Seemed like a solid home to us, for a heckuva lot less than a PH.

Hi. Did you purchase a Pinnacle home? My husband and I live in Missouri and have been considering a Pinnacle. Patriot dealers that carry the Pinnacle say it's a great home. Patriot dealers that don't carry Pinnacles will tell us horror stories of how the homes aren't adequate for Missouri weather, or will start having structural problems after a while due to them being built in Alabama, as opposed to northern built homes. The Patriot Pinnacle seems to have, structurally, what we've been looking for. They look very nice inside, too. We have Randy Eaton's books, which have been a tremendous help. (Received them just a few days after ordering). The Pinnacle seems to be the most affordable for us, and also have the finished drywall and flat ceilings. However, we don't want to buy a good-looking house that will start falling apart after a few months. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated! Sue.

Does anyone know the average price per square foot of a Patriot Pinnacle in the Pensacola area? I have emailed the company but have not heard back. I am specifically interested in the Magnolia model. This does not even look like a manufavtured home and I read some earlier posts saying that Pinnacle makes modular homes. Does anyone know if this is a manufactured or modular home? Also, can anyone direct me to more info on Bill Byrd's foundation process. Can it be purchased anywhere besides his dealership? Thanks for any forthcoming answers. Kathy
