Randy,

I was looking at your comparison book, and didn't see House Smart listed. Did you or have you reviewed the House Smart line? If so, is it in your book?

So far, House Smart seems to be the best value in a high-end home here in Central and South Texas. However, many people are knocking Oakwood on other web sites. I know HS is owned by Oakwood, but I don't know if there is much difference between the brands.

Hello Joe,

I have not looked at House Smart as of yet. Oakwood owns a number of quality builders in the United States. Schults being one, I know of some dealers selling Schults or Marlette and they have said some modest changes have happend but for the most part Oakwood is not changing things around too much. I would not worry about Oakwood owning House Smart. Follow my construction guide and you'll be find. God bless.
