confused in Louisiana

We own our own land in Louisiana and can't decide between a mobile home and a stick build house. It doesn't seem like a manufactured homes cost that much less. Cretin homes builds houses for 42 dollars a square foot and mobile homes are about the same. We want to get the most for our money but want something that will last.

Hello Danae,

Quality builders of manufactured home will be in the $40 to $50 range. But Site built homes will cost $65 or more. If you're looking at a site-built home for less then $65 per square foot then I would suggest your looking a poorly built site-built home. I would look at Commodore, Hart Housing, Palm Harbor and Solitaire, hope this helps.
