Out of state move ?

Post by Gary » Wed Dec 12, 2001 11:24 pm

1) Are homes built in the Southern US able to be certified for setup in the Northeast US ?

2) What kind of problems can you have if you move a home from one region to another...like say from Georgia to Maine ?

3) Would a singlewide or a doublewide be better able to handle the snow and cold weather ??

Thanks for your time.

Hello Gary,

I would not recommend moving a two-section home more then 350 miles. The R-factors will determine how well the home will do in the winter months. I would recommend purchasing the home where you plane on living. Just my opinion!
