septic tank installation

I have purchased a mobile home lot and will put a trailer on it in several years as a vacation home. My question is this. Can I go ahead and put in a septic tank ahead of time or does it need to be done just right before I put a trailer on the lot?

You can install the septic tank ahead of time. You will need to have the lot perked for septic by the Health Department and they will issue you a permit. Check on how long the permit is good for, though.
