I am making plans to buy a trailer as a 2nd home in a gated community. The covenants say that it has to be a single-wide trailer. My question is: Is there a maximum size that a single-wide trailer can be? Don't single-wides come in various sizes?
Thanks!

RE: defn. of single-wide
Older singlewides were 12 feet, since about 1976 singlewides have been 14 feet and can now be purchased, in some states at 16' feet wide. Sixteen feet homes are not allowed to be transported in some states because of wide load considerations.
