remove a pop-up drain

I am trying to clean the drain in my bathtub and would like to know how do you remove the pop-up drain so I can clean out the drain. Thankyou

I think with the pop up feature, you will have to go to the access panel, propbably under the home, to gain access to this drain. A stoppered drain can usually be unscrewed from within the tub.
