We have a 2000 Clayton double wide that came with a fireplace. Would like to use it more but the fireplace smokes up the home. What can I do about that problem? Have heard the chimney may be too short but it is at least 36" higher than the roof. It is located on an outside wall.
Thanks for your help.
Smoking Fireplace Problem
Re: Smoking Fireplace Problem
Your fireplace chimney must be 3' higher than the rood where it passes through and 2' higher than any part of the roof within a 10' radius.
It you have a high pitch roof, this could be the problem.
