new kitchen cabinets

a 1979 cavco ,,,small gally kitchen ,,,needs up dateing and more work space...what can be done to the outside walls>>. and can walls be removed easily....told they are 2x4 but wrong way than standard wall placement....any ideas////

the side walls are load bearing and receive the roof load to transfer to the floor, chassis, piers, ground.
removal of these walls requires an understanding of how the roof load is transfer.
I would advise against it.
