Why is it that living in a mobile home community means you are stuck financially?
I'VE just had a stroke and now need to refinance my, almost paid for singlewide home.
I did not anticipate becoming disabled, therefore had planned to pay the mortage out traditionally by working until paid in full. In 2004 I had a major stroke and things have changed drastically. I can no longer work and therefore the 400.00 monthly payment on a 17,000 remaining mortage balance is quite difficult. I would move it onto private land if I could find something affordable. Why wont lenders refinance my loan? I would even trade in for a newer home and a land deal, if I could find one. Thank you
Please help

I would check with USDA. They may have programs for people in your situation assuming you have good credit.
